Record-Breaking Hailstorm in Duki After 42 Years, Rain Forecasted for Several Cities

The district of Duki in Balochistan witnessed a historic hailstorm, breaking a 42-year record, while the scenic spots of Arang Kel and Upper Grace in Neelum Valley were blanketed in snow following recent snowfall.

The Meteorological Department predicts cold and partly cloudy weather in Islamabad and surrounding areas. Rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms is expected in Dera Ghazi Khan, Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, and Battagram.

Additionally, dense fog is likely to affect Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Jhang, Multan, and Sahiwal, whereas smog is expected to prevail in Sukkur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, and Dadu.

In Karachi, strong winds are anticipated to blow intermittently starting today, with cooler mornings and nights expected across other parts of Sindh.
