After meeting the PTI Chairman at Adiala Jail, Gohar informed the media that detailed information about the events was shared with the Chairman, who had been unaware due to lack of access to news. The Chairman strongly condemned the firing during the protests and demanded the formation of an inquiry commission to hold those responsible accountable.
Chairman’s Instructions and Message to Workers
The Chairman appreciated the resilience of party workers and instructed them to raise the issue in the National Assembly and Senate. He emphasized maintaining unity within the party and recognized the efforts of Punjab’s MNAs, MPAs, and other leaders during these challenging times.
Advocate Faisal Chaudhry’s Remarks
PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry revealed that during the meeting, the Chairman was briefed about the bloodshed. He expressed deep sorrow over the sacrifices of party workers and criticized the use of live ammunition during the protests, suggesting that non-lethal measures like tear gas could have been used instead.
Chaudhry also acknowledged the contributions of Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur, who played pivotal roles in guiding the party during difficult circumstances.
Preparations for Peaceful Protest
Faisal Chaudhry announced plans for a peaceful march in Peshawar to honor the martyrs and pledged to highlight the issue in political forums and assemblies. He stated that the Chairman would decide the future course of action after consulting with party leaders and legal advisors.

Both Barrister Gohar and Faisal Chaudhry dismissed rumors about the Chairman’s health, confirming that he is in good condition and focused on the party’s future strategies.
