Germany: Death Toll Rises to 5 After Car Plows Through Christmas Market Crowd

In a tragic incident in the eastern German town of Magdeburg, a car plowed into a crowded Christmas market, leaving five people dead and more than 200 injured, including 40 in critical condition.

Regional Interior Minister Tamara Teschang confirmed that the suspected attacker is a 50-year-old Saudi doctor who moved to Germany in 2006.
