Lahore – Law Enforcement Takes Swift Action Against Child Abuse
In a decisive operation, the Cybercrime Circle has apprehended a suspect accused of child exploitation in Lahore, recovering objectionable material from his possession.
This operation, conducted under the International Child Sexual Exploitation Database framework, is the first of its kind since Pakistan integrated into the global network earlier this month.
The suspect, identified as Asim Butt, was arrested during a raid on Kamahan Road, Lahore. According to initial investigations, the accused had allegedly exploited a minor girl, the daughter of a domestic worker.
Authorities have seized the suspect’s mobile phone, containing explicit material, for forensic analysis. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover additional details about his activities.
This action underscores the country’s commitment to safeguarding children and cracking down on those involved in heinous crimes against minors.
