n Shikarpur district of Sindh, two police constables were martyred on Wednesday in a shooting by unknown assailants.
The martyred constables, identified as Altaf Brohi and Abdul Qadir Qalati, were having a meal at a restaurant in the Garhi Taigo area when the attackers approached the restaurant, fired at them, and fled the scene. Both constables embraced martyrdom.
The IG Police Operations Room confirmed that the bodies of the constables have been moved to the Shikarpur Civil Hospital.
The incident was confirmed by Saqir Ahmed Magri, the Deputy Superintendent of Police of Khanpur.
The Chief Minister of Sindh has ordered the Deputy Inspector General of Police in Larkana to immediately arrest the perpetrators and submit a report.
