Pakistani rowers made a remarkable performance at the Thailand International Rowing Competitions, securing 9 gold medals and a total of 30 medals. Representing the Karachi Boat Club, Muhammad Asad won three gold medals, while the daughter of former cricketer Faisal Iqbal, Hooriya Faisal, and Kazma Ijaz each won two gold medals.
Saif Malik and Zoreen Tahir each secured a gold medal, while Syed Taimoor earned one silver and three bronze medals. In the Masters category, the joint Pakistan-India pair of Asghar Ali and Swapn won a silver medal. The event saw participation from over 300 rowers from 11 countries, with Pakistan’s stellar performance being widely praised
