The third and final T20 match between Pakistan and South Africa was abandoned due to heavy rain, resulting in South Africa claiming the three-match series 2-0.
Bad weather in Johannesburg, including rain and strong winds, made even the toss impossible. Prior to this, Pakistan had already lost the first two matches, ensuring the series win for the Proteas.
Pakistan made one change in their playing XI, replacing Usman Khan with Salman Ali Agha.
In the second T20 match, Pakistan scored 206 runs for the loss of five wickets. Saim Ayub played a brilliant knock of 98 runs, while Babar Azam and Irfan Khan contributed 31 and 30 runs, respectively.
South Africa chased the target with ease, reaching the score with three balls and seven wickets to spare. Reeza Hendricks’ outstanding century was the highlight of their innings.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan’s tour of South Africa includes 3 T20s, 3 ODIs, and 2 Test matches. The third T20 was scheduled for December 14, while the first ODI is set for December 17 in Paarl. The Test matches will be played on December 26 and January 3 in Centurion and Cape Town, respectively
