JUI-F Threatens Protest in Islamabad if Religious Schools Bill is Not Approved by December 8

JUI-F Threatens Protest in Islamabad if Religious Schools Bill is Not Approved by December 8

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has warned the government to approve the religious schools’ bill by December 8 or face a protest march towards Islamabad.

Speaking on the matter, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri stated that while they do not want to resort to a march, the delay in signing the bill reflects ill intentions on the government’s part.

He further revealed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari assured them he would coordinate with the President to ensure the bill is signed into law.

It is worth noting that JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had earlier set a similar deadline, threatening to march towards Islamabad if the bill was not approved by December 8.
