The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will arrive in Pakistan today, marking the beginning of a new era of foreign investment in the country.
A 75-member delegation from Belarus arrived in Islamabad yesterday.
The visit is being made on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Sources confirm that Lukashenko is expected to meet with the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif, and the Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir. During this visit, four memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed, focusing on trade, agriculture, industry, and pharmaceuticals.
