Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant increase of Rs. 2,500 per tola, bringing the price of 24-karat gold to Rs. 280,500 per tola, according to the state-run news agency APP.
Additionally, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs. 2,143, reaching Rs. 240,483, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams was sold at Rs. 220,443.
Despite the rise in gold, silver prices remained stable at Rs. 3,450 per tola and Rs. 2,957 per 10 grams.
On the international front, gold prices also increased by $25 per ounce, settling at $2,693.
This marks the fifth consecutive day of price hikes in Pakistan. The upward trend began on November 18, with consistent increments over subsequent days. Experts attribute the rise to ongoing market volatility and increasing demand.
