President and Prime Minister Condemn Qalat Attack on Security Forces

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack on security forces in Qalat’s Shah Mardan area.

In a statement, President Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs, offering prayers for their high ranks in paradise and expressing solidarity with their families. He reiterated the nation’s commitment to eradicating terrorism completely.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement issued by his media office, commended the security forces for eliminating the attackers and directed authorities to provide the injured with the best medical care.

Shehbaz Sharif stressed that elements causing unrest in Balochistan are enemies of both the province’s development and its people. He reaffirmed that the government’s commitment to Balochistan’s progress remains unshaken despite these cowardly attacks.

The Prime Minister pledged to crush the nefarious designs of Pakistan’s enemies and vowed to continue the fight against terrorism until its complete elimination.

ISPR earlier reported that in the intense exchange of fire during the attack, six terrorists were killed and four injured, while seven soldiers embraced martyrdom.
