Government Decides to Maintain Petrol Prices for the Next 15 Days

Islamabad: The government has announced that the prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged for the next 15 days.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the per-liter price of petrol will remain at PKR 248.38, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will continue to be sold at PKR 255.14 per liter.

Earlier, there had been speculation about a potential increase in petroleum prices by up to PKR 5.50 per liter, but the government has opted to maintain the current rates.

It is worth noting that on November 1, the government raised petrol prices by PKR 1.35 per liter and high-speed diesel by PKR 3.85 per liter.

The decision to keep prices stable is likely aimed at providing relief to the public amidst ongoing economic challenges.
