Google Maps has rolled out a new feature that will be particularly useful for car owners. Four years ago, Google introduced a feature allowing Maps users to customize their car icons on the navigation screen, and now these customization options have been expanded.
According to a report from Android Police, five new vehicle models, including a Jeep and hatchback, have been added along with eight new color options. Previously, only four icons were available: a regular arrow, yellow SUV, red car, and green pickup truck. Currently, this feature is available on iOS for limited users, with Android rollout expected soon.
