Pakistan has created history by defeating Australia in an ODI series on Australian soil after 22 years. In the third and decisive match, Pakistan secured an impressive 8-wicket victory over the hosts.
In the final game of the series played in Perth, Pakistan’s pace attack dismantled the Australian batting lineup, reducing them to 140 for 9 in 31.5 overs. One Australian player was unable to return to bat due to injury. Pakistan chased down the target in just 27 overs, losing only two wickets. The opening pair confidently set up an 84-run start for Pakistan.

For Australia, Lance Morris claimed both Pakistani wickets. Earlier, Pakistan’s captain, Mohammad Rizwan, chose to bowl first after winning the toss. Sean Abbott was the top scorer for Australia with 30 runs, while six other players couldn’t reach double figures.
For Pakistan, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi each took three wickets, while Haris Rauf grabbed two and Mohammad Hasnain took one. Australia made five changes to their lineup, while Pakistan retained the winning squad from the previous game.
