USA (News Desk): Donald Trump has been re-elected as the President of the United States, securing the required 270 electoral votes. His opponent Kamala Harris managed to obtain only 226 votes. Trump is set to become the 47th President of the United States, taking his oath on January 20, 2025.
Speaking to his supporters in West Palm Beach, Trump expressed gratitude to them for their unwavering support throughout the campaign. “This historic victory is given to us for a reason,” he said, explaining that his mission now is to heal the nation’s wounds and restore unity.
Trump highlighted the success of regaining control of the Senate and expressed optimism about achieving a majority in the House of Representatives as well, calling it a “remarkable triumph for the American people.” He specifically mentioned the support from swing states, where he performed strongly.
During his speech, Trump also praised Elon Musk, calling him “a brilliant and wise man,” and emphasized the importance of protecting individuals with such intellect. Reflecting on a recent assassination attempt on his life, Trump stated that surviving the attack reminded him of his purpose to make America great again.
Trump reiterated his previous achievements, noting that during his last term, his administration defeated ISIS and refrained from initiating any new wars. He vowed to maximize the use of America’s oil reserves and encouraged legal immigration into the country.
