The selection process for committee chairpersons is already underway. PTI Chief Whip Aamir Dogar is expected to be appointed as the chairman of the Standing Committee on Religious Affairs.
During a recent meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Religious Affairs, Aamir Dogar was elected unopposed as chairman. Members from both the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Pakistan People’s Party supported his appointment, reflecting bipartisan consensus on PTI’s expanded committee leadership.
