At Karachi’s Drigh Road Station, two coaches of the Rehman Baba Express derailed, but no casualties were reported in the incident.
According to railway sources, the derailment occurred due to a broken coupler, causing three coaches to come off the track. Fortunately, all passengers remained safe, though the mainline for upcountry trains was blocked.
Railway officials stated that the Rehman Baba Express was en route from Karachi to Peshawar. Following the incident, the down track was cleared, allowing Pakistan Express to depart with a two-hour delay.
However, the up track remained blocked, delaying the departures of Karakoram Express, Business Express, and others. Allama Iqbal Express and Millat Express faced delays ranging from one to three hours
