Ata Tarar: Murad Saeed is Hiding in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM House

Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed of hiding in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s House. He claimed that Murad Saeed had planned to send trained individuals to cause deaths during protests, but the attempt was foiled.

In a press conference in Islamabad, Ata Tarar stated that violent elements were part of PTI’s protests and that they were armed with illegal weapons. He also mentioned that fake videos and photos were circulated during the protests, linking images of Gaza and Palestine to the protests in D-Chowk.

He clarified that according to hospital reports, no deaths were caused by gunshots during any of the protests, and that the protesters themselves fired indiscriminately.

Ata Tarar strongly criticized the rise of terrorism and PTI’s disruptive politics in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that the people of the province need basic facilities like education and healthcare. However, the provincial government is wasting resources on protests instead.

The Information Minister also pointed out that Afghan nationals and criminals had joined the protests, using the demonstration as a cover. He revealed that a large amount of weaponry, including 45 guns, had been seized from the protesters.

Ata Tarar concluded by stating that such protests, where demonstrators carry weapons, are unacceptable in any civilized society. He further emphasized that the resources of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government are being spent on illegal activities rather than on public welfare.
