The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released updated voter statistics, revealing that the total number of registered voters in the country has surpassed 132 million.
The breakdown shows that 53.74% of voters are male, while 46.26% are female. Punjab has the largest voter base, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan.
The federal capital, Islamabad, has over 1.1 million registered voters. Despite some criticism of the ECP’s performance in recent elections, the commission continues its efforts to maintain a transparent voter registry and ensure fair elections.
