Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi issued a stern message to the International Cricket Council (ICC), stating that Pakistan may boycott the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 if treated unfairly.
In a meeting with ICC officials, Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan is willing to bear financial losses but will not tolerate disrespect. He rejected the hybrid model proposed by ICC and the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) for hosting matches outside Pakistan.
The PCB has called for a revised plan ahead of the ICC Board Meeting, insisting that the same rules apply to all teams. The Champions Trophy 2025 marks Pakistan’s first major hosting opportunity in years, with matches scheduled across Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
