The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) reached a historic milestone as the KSE-100 Index crossed the 100,000-point threshold for the first time. On Thursday, the index gained 1,210 points during early trading, setting a new record.
This surge follows a dramatic 4,695-point rise the previous day, attributed to reduced political uncertainty after the PTI protest ended. The market had previously been at 40,000 points just 17 months ago, marking an unprecedented 60,000-point increase during this period.
