Beirut: Israeli forces launched airstrikes in eastern Lebanon, firing four powerful missiles at Beirut. The attack targeted an eight-story building, leaving 20 dead and 66 injured. Simultaneously, strikes were carried out on the Josieh Crossing along the Syria-Lebanon border.
The death toll in Lebanon has now risen to 3,677. Hezbollah retaliated with 30 rockets fired into Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, hospitals and mosques remain under attack by Israeli forces. At least 38 more Palestinians were killed, with al-Farooq Mosque in Nuseirat and Kamal Adwan Hospital among the latest targets. In the past 24 hours, Israeli airstrikes have claimed 120 lives and injured 205.
The total death toll due to Israeli aggression has now surpassed 44,176. Among the casualties was a Jewish hostage, confirmed deceased by Hamas.
In Israel’s capital Tel Aviv, citizens took to the streets again, demanding urgent negotiations for the release of hostages.
