Peshawar:Special Assistant for Information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Barrister Saif, has asserted that the province’s youth are resolute in their mission to secure the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He warned the government against taking any reckless actions that could provoke unrest.
Preparations for Protest
Saif stated that all arrangements have been finalized to remove obstacles for the November 24 protest, ensuring its success. He emphasized that KP citizens had previously overcome similar hurdles to reach Islamabad and will do so again, dismissing barriers like containers as mere inconveniences.
Convoy Under Ali Amin Gandapur
Saif confirmed that a convoy led by Ali Amin Gandapur will march to Islamabad, vowing not to retreat until their demands are met. The primary demand is the release of Imran Khan and other political detainees, alongside the restoration of the people’s mandate.
A Warning to the Government
Barrister Saif cautioned the government against any “foolish acts,” stressing that the fervor of the youth and the public’s commitment would override any efforts to derail their movement. He reaffirmed that the release of Imran Khan is a collective demand and will be pursued with determination.
