A British couple, who were traveling the world on a motorbike, has been arrested in Iran on charges of espionage.
According to Iranian authorities, the couple was allegedly collecting sensitive information from various locations within Iran. They were detained in January this year in the southern city of Kerman.
Media reports state that an Iranian judiciary spokesperson has officially accused the couple of having ties with intelligence services of hostile nations.
Initially, Iranian officials did not disclose their identities. However, through the British Foreign Office, the detained couple was identified as Craig and Lindsay Foreman.
