Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that education is a fundamental right in every society, and ensuring girls’ access to education in impoverished nations is a necessity. Addressing the two-day international conference on challenges in women’s education, he welcomed the participants, including Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, and thanked Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support in organizing the event.
The Prime Minister highlighted that figures like Arfa Karim serve as an inspiration for all girls and stressed the importance of addressing barriers to girls’ education. He paid tribute to the contributions of Hazrat Khadija (RA) in commerce and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto as the first female Prime Minister of the Islamic world.
Shehbaz Sharif underscored the need to equip girls with vocational skills and quality education. He cited the graduates of Danish Schools as shining examples of progress. He reiterated that providing quality education to girls strengthens society and enables women to play a pivotal role in the global economy.
