The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the details of the West Indies tour of Pakistan. The West Indies team will arrive in Islamabad on January 6, 2025.
The tour will begin with a three-day match against Pakistan Shaheens from January 10 to 12 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Following this, the team will play two Test matches against Pakistan in Multan.
According to the PCB, the first Test will be held from January 17 to 21, while the second Test is scheduled from January 25 to 29, both in Multan. This marks West Indies’ first Test tour of Pakistan in 19 years.
The last time West Indies played three Test matches in Pakistan was in November 2006. However, their last Test series against Pakistan took place in October 2016 in the UAE.
Since then, West Indies have toured Pakistan three times, featuring in T20I series in April 2018 and December 2021, as well as an ODI series in June 2022.
