Los Angeles Wildfire Uncontrolled, Death Toll Rises to 16

The deadliest wildfire in Los Angeles history continues to rage since Tuesday, with no signs of containment. According to international media reports, over 12,000 homes and buildings have been reduced to ashes, forcing more than 200,000 people to evacuate.

New evacuation orders have been issued for several areas. The reports state that the fire has claimed 16 lives, injured hundreds, and left 13 people missing. Search efforts for the missing are ongoing.

A health emergency has been declared in Los Angeles County, and curfews have been imposed in affected areas at night to curb looting incidents. High winds are predicted to worsen the situation, prompting a Red Flag Warning.

Hollywood celebrities Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore, and James Woods were among those forced to evacuate their luxury homes due to the wildfire.

Over 12,000 firefighters, 1,150 fire engines, 60 aircraft, and 143 water tankers are battling the blaze. Additionally, Mexico and Canada have extended offers of assistance to help combat the fire.
