Two New Polio Cases Reported in Pakistan, Total Reaches 67

Two more polio cases have been reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 67.

According to details, one case was reported from Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the other from Kashmore, Sindh. Health officials confirmed the cases, stating that the number of children affected by polio in Balochistan has reached 27.

Provincial Breakdown

  • Balochistan: 27 cases
  • Sindh: 19 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 19 cases
  • Islamabad and Punjab: 1 case each

Authorities have expressed concern over the situation and urged parents to ensure their children receive polio vaccinations. Efforts are underway to curb the spread of the virus through coordinated campaigns and public awareness initiatives.
