Islamabad: Federal government educational institutions have abolished Saturday holidays to make up for academic disruptions caused by recent closures.
According to a notification, the new policy will remain effective from November 30 until February 1, 2025.
The move comes as schools in Islamabad and Rawalpindi reopened after a four-day hiatus caused by political unrest. Normalcy has since returned, and educational activities resumed across the twin cities on November 28.
